What an amazing subject Andrea was! Everything was perfect…her outfits, her makeup, her jewelry and her beautiful smile! Andrea was meant to be in front of the camera. Picking favorites was a hard task, but here are some of my tops.

Ana is an amazing person. I was so happy when she told me she needed some “edgy” portraits for some new adventures she was embarking on, and that she wanted me to create these images for her. At the time, I didn’t know her that well, but I knew of her talents as a dancer and as a fabulous choreographer.
We went to one of my favorite locations for her session, and were surprised to see quite a bit of snow on the ground! It was so much fun, and I really enjoyed getting to know her as the beautiful, talented, grounded person she is.
I truly believe Ana is going to be a star.

This ranks right up there with one of my favorite sessions of 2012. Ok, ok, I pretty much love all of my sessions. I have to say, though, that senior portraits are very fun. And, Jamie was so great, and this location was seriously amazing…..{thank you, Darryl}.
Everything, really, was perfect. Although we did have to climb over some stuff, and through some stuff, and around some stuff. But, it was completely worth it.
Thank you Jamie, for indulging me in my excursion, and being the absolute perfect subject…and Nancy for coming along and being…well, Nancy. And, Darryl, for being so, so amazingly open to sharing locations and inspiring great photography. You are one of a kind.
My favs……or at least some of them.

I met Uggs before the holidays. He was a very determined little guy who spent much of his time cruising around in his doggy wheelchair. He was rescued and loved by a wonderful and caring family who gave him the time and space he needed to grow comfortable in their home. When he first came to them, they couldn’t even touch him and their main goal was not to be bitten. However, because of their patience and care, he learned to trust and love them. He became a part of the family. Although they only had him for 10 months, the love they shared will last forever.
They had to say goodbye to Uggs on December 22. Although he was little in size, his impact was very large. Uggs was a true testament to just what a little patience and a whole lot of love can do.
Happy Friday Face.

Uggs and his family.
