Gorgeous Stella. She was a dream to photograph…slept the entire time. Deanna (Stella’s mom) is spoiling me with all of these beautiful subjects. Dogs, cats, and now baby number two. Thank you, Deanna, for allowing me into your life to create images of your beautiful family!
Samantha couldn’t have been a more perfect model. She slept the absolute entire time. I put so many hats on her, and put her into two cocoons and basically moved her all around the room as the light changed. But, she still slept…like an angel. Samantha’s mom, Jackie, was busy during our session. She had to run down to the bus stop and get Samantha’s brother, fix him lunch and keep him happy. The whole house was a bustle of activity, but still Samantha slept!!

I first met Dewey a few months ago. You may remember his adorable “Friday Face” a few posts back. Dewey is one of the most beautiful shepherds I have ever seen. His body is huge, his fur is gorgeous, and he is just the happiest most enthusiastic guy! When we did our sitting, Tracey, Dewey’s human mom was expecting. We had a wonderful time in the park creating some “before baby” photos and capturing Dewey’s sweet personality.
That was then.
On January 11, Tracey, Dave and Dewey welcomed into the world precious, beautiful Gabriel James…and their lives forever changed, but in an awesomely, wonderful way. Dewey is so cool, he is adjusting like a champ. Dave and Tracey still give Dewey all the attention he deserves, and with the addition of a beautiful human brother, Dewey just has more reasons to be happy!
Welcome Gabriel James.
And now, Dewey is resting. After all, it’s a lot of work watching over a new baby!

This week’s face belongs to not a dog, not a cat, not a horse, not a…..well, you get it….right? It belongs to two absolutely beautiful little girls….baby Aliah and her big sister Bella. I met Aliah when she was just about 10 days old, and oh, so precious. Bella wanted to watch, help, and just be a part of things. They are both so gorgeous.
On this freezing January Friday (it’s 18 degrees here), I hope this “Friday Face” warms your heart just a little!

Ben is so darned cute, he deserves a part two. Besides, my first post was ages ago, and only included one photo ( I think ).
I’m a little backed up, you see, with my processing and posting and….well, just about everything. This has been a full year for me. So, my goal is to get a lot more postings done, and to basically catch up on all of my sittings!!
Please, wish me luck. But, in the meantime, enjoy Ben and his beautiful, peaceful face, and adorable smile!!

Beautiful little Bella. She weighed a little over 4 pounds at birth and was not much more than that when I photographed her. But, what she lacked in size, she made up for in will! She made me work hard to get each precious photo! She did sleep a bit, but much preferred to stay awake and know just what was going on!!
Bella’s parents have been patiently waiting a peek. So, here she is….Beautiful Bella.

Sweet little Nola. She was 11 days old yesterday and I had the privelage of meeting and photographing her. She slept a little and was awake a little….but was amazingly pleasant the entire time. When she was asleep her expression was so peaceful and innocent. Congratulations Beth and Steve on your gorgeous baby girl.
This little sneak peek is for mom, dad, and Nola’s grandparents who are eagerly awaiting their first visits which have been delayed by the flu! Get well Grandmoms, beautiful Nola will be waiting!

Ben and I met briefly yesterday. He gave me a few lovely and amazing moments.
Babies are very unpredictable though, and so the moments were brief. Not to worry, I will be visiting him again tomorrow!

This weekend I did something I have never done before! I photographed brand new Brody. He was just 9 days old and absolutely beautiful. I have heard that these little newborn wonders are bendy and sleepy and that is just what Brody was. Once he fell asleep, that was it. He slept the whole time! It was so amazing and I loved every minute of it. His little face is simply perfection.
His mom, Deanna, is a client of mine. We first met when I photographed her dogs, and cats! I can’t think of a better new mom than Deanna to help me with my infant session experimenting. We laughed and had so much fun. Thank you Deanna for such a wonderful experience.
Since I couldn’t wait to post some images, here are just two. And, please note the adorable little hat….made by yours truly!!
