Samantha couldn’t have been a more perfect model. She slept the absolute entire time. I put so many hats on her, and put her into two cocoons and basically moved her all around the room as the light changed. But, she still slept…like an angel. Samantha’s mom, Jackie, was busy during our session. She had to run down to the bus stop and get Samantha’s brother, fix him lunch and keep him happy. The whole house was a bustle of activity, but still Samantha slept!!

It’s not a secret…I love cats. Really love them. When I get a call for a cat session I am very excited. And, when I met Samson, I was super excited. Not only is Samson incredibly gorgeous, but he is HUGE. I found myself just staring at him in amazement, he was so big! And he’s just so cool and laid back.

Although he is not a huge player, he did enjoy my red crochet teaser. Unfortunately, that toy is no more though..{kovu ate it}.

Samson seemed to love modeling and he basically let me do whatever I wanted. He was simply purrfect!

Handsome is so very handsome! I had to make this photo the Friday Face because it cracks me up. So I was hoping it might do the same for all of you.

Odin.

Odin is a very special face. I photographed him quite early in my Cool Pets days and he is a Cool Pets Classic for sure. He was a classy, quiet soul who stole my heart when I met him. I recently found out that wonderful Odin lost his battle with cancer and is no longer with us. In his honor, here are two of my favorite Odin photos.

I first met Dewey a few months ago. You may remember his adorable “Friday Face” a few posts back. Dewey is one of the most beautiful shepherds I have ever seen. His body is huge, his fur is gorgeous, and he is just the happiest most enthusiastic guy! When we did our sitting, Tracey, Dewey’s human mom was expecting. We had a wonderful time in the park creating some “before baby” photos and capturing Dewey’s sweet personality.

That was then.

On January 11, Tracey, Dave and Dewey welcomed into the world precious, beautiful Gabriel James…and their lives forever changed, but in an awesomely, wonderful way. Dewey is so cool, he is adjusting like a champ. Dave and Tracey still give Dewey all the attention he deserves, and with the addition of a beautiful human brother, Dewey just has more reasons to be happy!

Welcome Gabriel James.

And now, Dewey is resting. After all, it’s a lot of work watching over a new baby!
