Lainey short for Lagniappe( a little something extra you weren’t expecting-think baker’s dozen) found us in Louisiana when her owners left her in thier old backyard with a bowl of food and water in July-since they had moved to a new house and they couldn’t have pets ……… CAN YOU IMAGINE…??!! July in Louisiana- alone in a backyard! She has slept in bed -under the covers -between us since the day she showed up in a thunderstorm on our doorstep! We were gonna name her Luckydog but we’re the lucky ones!!!
