I loved meeting and photographing Piper, Nicholi, Lee and Stephanie.

The weather was very weird. At first we really thought we were going to get rained on. It was humid, sticky and dark. But, we persevered, and before we knew it, the sun was out! Weird.

Piper and Nicholi are polar opposites. Piper (the chocolatey brown one) has ADD. No, no, not really! She just moves very quickly from one thing to the next. She loves sticks, and chewing on sticks, and fetching sticks…pretty much anything having to do with sticks.

Nicholi on the other hand, likes to pose. He looks good and he knows it.

Lee and Stephanie provide the perfect balance. They are calm and loving with Piper and Nicholi, and with each other!

Stephanie and “Nick Nack”…GORGEOUS!

We laughed and romped in the Valley Forge fields. Stephanie giggled a lot!

This is Andy. Andy lives in a beautiful, light, bright, house. Most everything is white…couches, carpet, pillows! How absolutely gorgeous, and yet, really quite a challenge photographically! Especially when your subject is pitch black! Except for the little white spot on his chest, Andy is most definitely black!

Fortunately, Andy is cool. He loved the feather toy I brought along, and was more than happy to pose in between grabs! He’s quite a beauty!

Holly’s mom was so wonderful and allowed me free reign to design her album. This is a new product for me and I was certain it would be stunning. I just needed to go for it. I needed to throw caution to the wind, to put aside my design phobias, to jump in with both feet.. to…ok, so you get it right?

When the package showed up at my door, I was nervous. I opened it up and this is the first thing I saw! Can you believe this beauty?

When something comes wrapped like this, you pretty much know there’s something good inside.

And, here is what was inside…silk brocade and leather. Ahh! Delicious!

I am in awe of the care and craftsmanship of these albums.

Needless to say, Holly’s mom and dad love it, and I love it.

I have told many of you about these new beauties. Now you can see for yourselves. I’m ready to design some more!

This is Coach.  He’s cool.  I mean, with a name like Coach, he’s got to be cool, right?  Such a great name.  This photo was the very first shot I took of Coach.  I got out of the car, got my stuff together, loaded my film, and there he was….just standing there looking at me with this…..this……this Friday Face!!

Bear, Bogey….Bogey, Bear.  One ear up, one ear down, both ears out.  I could not keep them straight.  Who is who, which is which?  I kept asking their mom, Lynne.  And, to this day, I STILL ask her.  I was gonna just make one them the Friday Face, but since I can’t tell who’s who, they’re both here!  Double the pleasure!

So, this is Bogey, or wait no, it’s Bear.  Er, it might be Bogey, one ear up – one down…ok, yeah, that’s it….Bogey.

So, hello Mr. Ears all to the side! You must be Bear!!!!!

This weekend I did something I have never done before! I photographed brand new Brody. He was just 9 days old and absolutely beautiful. I have heard that these little newborn wonders are bendy and sleepy and that is just what Brody was. Once he fell asleep, that was it. He slept the whole time! It was so amazing and I loved every minute of it. His little face is simply perfection.

His mom, Deanna, is a client of mine. We first met when I photographed her dogs, and cats! I can’t think of a better new mom than Deanna to help me with my infant session experimenting. We laughed and had so much fun. Thank you Deanna for such a wonderful experience.

Since I couldn’t wait to post some images, here are just two. And, please note the adorable little hat….made by yours truly!!
