Please allow me to introduce to you, Savannah. She’s a yellow lab. And she’s mine. Yup. Oddly enough this is her very first appearance on my blog. Ya know the old saying about a carpenter’s work never being done? Well, that’s pretty much how it is here. Today, however, I looked at her and said, “You, my dear, are going to be the Friday Face.” I grabbed my camera, her pink camo collar and leash, and my little bag of Wellness treats (yum) and out we went. I started taking photos and within ten minutes it was pouring. That’s the way it has been all summer. Sunny one minute, pouring the next, sunny the next. Crazy.

But, in those quick 10 minutes I managed to get these. And, this is why she is my soul mate. She is the sweetest, wiggliest most endearing little thing. And, I love her.

Oh well, Happy Friday Part of a Face!

My Friday Faces have been missing these passed two Fridays because of our wonderful vacation.  Our annual East Hill Farm vacation is a highly anticipated trip and every year we have an awesome time! This was our 11th year at the farm, and one of our best ever!

Now that we are back, I will make up for the absence by giving you not one, but three faces. All from our week at the farm.

First up…Bojo.  He is a farm guest every year during our week, and actually appeared here on the blog last year.  

I love that fresh crimped look on his ears!!

Next up…Truman. He is just a puppy. A very large puppy. He fit right in at the farm and seemed to enjoy wandering around checking the lawn for leftovers from the buffet lunches!

Here he is giving me his “I’m a puppy, see me smile?” face!

And this? This is a ram! I know he has a name, but I just feel the urge to shout, “Narnia” whenever I see him. We passed him every morning on our way to the tennis courts.

So, it’s back to work for me.
