Molly in the morning

Years ago I met Donna and her amazing horse Earl. He was one of my first horse sittings and let me tell you, he set the stage! Shortly after our session, Donna, her husband, Tim, Earl, and their dog Bowler moved to Florida. The good news is that we have kept in touch and I was lucky to see Donna, Tim and their new dog Molly recently when they came back to PA for a visit! I was so honored to do more photos for Donna, and this time Donna and her husband joined Molly in the photos.

We had an early morning session at my favorite park. It was so fun watching Molly run in the sun and catch her ball. Her energy is non stop, however, she did pose a bit too!

Here’s a cute little blog board peak!

As usual, Susan has outdone herself. Susan emailed me that she posted a sneak peak of our session, and since I have been anxiously awaiting the pic’s I checked it out. When I read her beautiful words and saw the photo collage I got very weepy, and am tearing up again as I type this, three days later. Susan is an incredible woman with incredible gifts. Her obvious gift is her eye for composition, which is evident in seeing her work. Another of her gifts, which is evident upon meeting her, is her fun personality. When you meet Susan, you immediately feel as though you have been friends for a lifetime and you can’t wait to “play” with her, which is what the photo “sitting” feels like, a great grown up playdate.

Since our first session, both of my dear friends, Bowler (my dog) and Earl (my horse) have passed from my life, Bowler succumbed to cancer last year and Earl has been retired to a farm in Maryland. Now I have memories and the photos from our session to keep them with me. That afternoon of our shoot was one of the most fun and special afternoons of my life, and Susan made that possible. Now I also have special memories of our “Molly in the Morning” session to treaure forever. Thank you Susan for sharing your special gifts with us.
